Law Debate and Moot Court Union

The LDMU is both a student organization and a varsity team. As the official debate and moot court organization of the UP College of Law, it is committed to developing critical analysis and eloquent articulation of legal positions. As a varsity team, the LDMU regularly represents the College in various debate and moot court competitions both here and abroad. The Union currently boasts of having won, among others, the All-Asians Intervarsity Debate Championship (2001), The Asia Cup Moot Court Competition (2000, 2003, and 2007), The Jean Pictet Humanitarian Law Moot Competition (2004), and the Jessup World Moot Court Competition (1995).
